Weightloss Workouts Phase II

Weightloss Workouts Phase 1 focused on the entire body. The following routine works the front of the body on day one and the back of the body on day two. Use moderate weight and focus on the same breathing and tempo techniques used in phase 1. The cardio part is only 3 minutes each day and should be very challenging so that your second round of lifting is more intense. Remember to fuel your body properly before workouts and to drink plenty of water before, during, and after. The best way to use this workout is to do each day once a week and then do the phase 1 workout once a week so you're getting one full body workout and a two day split per week. This helps your body avoid plateaus.

Day One Workout
Roman chair knee raises 10-20
Machine hack squat 20
Walking dumbbell lunges 15
4 Count dumbbell curls 15
Rope cable curls 15
Machine side raises 15
Incline dumbbell press 10
Decline balance ball pushups 10
Balance ball crunches with 2 second pause at the top 20
Lifecycle intervals (manual setting)
level 5 90 rpm 1 min.
level 9 50 rpm 1 min.
level 3 80 rpm 1 min.
No rest and repeat from the top.


Day Two Workout
Back extensions 12-15
Butt machine (also called hip extensions or leg kickbacks) 20
Stiff legged dumbbell deadlifts 10
Balance ball leg curls 10
Dumbbell tricep extensions 15
Rope pressdown 15
Rear delt machine 15
Wide grip cable rows 10
Close grip front lat pulldown 10
Planks 15-30 seconds
Crosstrainer Intervals (manual setting)

level 3 75 rpm 1 min.
level 10 50 rpm 1 min.
No rest and repeat from the top.
